Natural Sweetener - Stevia Stevia is a natural intense sweetener extracted from the leaf of Stevia rebaudiana. Stevia is 200-300 times sweeter than sugar, contains no calories, and is safe for diabetics (very low GI—produces no glycemic response). It is also extremely heat-stable and can be used across a wide pH range. Stevia is widely used globally as a natural sweetener in countries such as Japan, China, Korea, and Brazil. In New Zealand and Australia, Stevia was approved by FSANZ as a permitted food additive an 2008. We offer different varieties of Stevia which are suitable for specific applications. We sell this product under the brand name Steviafin.
