The fruit and vegetable extracts from Futureceutical’s Vita line are designed to give you the maximum health benefit of antioxidants. The antioxidants are extracted and concentrated by freeze drying the fruits and the amount of antioxidants present in the final product is standardized using the ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorption Capacity) assay method. ORAC assay is the international standard for testing antioxidant capacity in foodstuffs.

The antioxidants in the Vita fruit extracts come in the form of polyphenols, a group of secondary plant substances which have been studied for many years for their positive effect on human health.

According to USDA, one serving of fruits or vegetables (~50g) contain about 500 ORAC value on average. An average Vita line product provides 5000 ORAC value per gram.
